Starting over, give me your opinion please?!

Question:

Starting over, give me your opinion please?

I'm I depressed? I'm an "know it all" and I feel like I tend to make a lot of enemies so I stay to myself at work. I have had a lot of problems in my past because of my attitude so I'm learning to adjust it. Does this make me insecure or am I maturing as a man or maybe both. It feels weird to relax and be cool but its working. I was fired from my last job because of my attitude. That experience and a lot more made me realize I had to be a team player to succeed in life. So I toned down the attitude. It's a work in progress for me. Sometimes I'm content and sometimes I'm frustrated. I have survived a whole lot of crap in 3 years. My awful 8 year marriage ended 6 months ago. One of my best friends committed suicide 2 years ago and my close first cousin killed his wife 5 months later. Add to this I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes around the same time. I prey and count my blessings and I have faith so I'm happy but sometimes I feel a little crazy. Give me your advice and experiances?

Answers:

There IS a study out there that suggest UNCONTROLLED type-2 can produce serious mood swings and angry outburst.

Get your body under control, and your mind will follow.
Learn to meditate. Work is work, if you make friends cool. if not it's WORK. Your not there to make life long 'friends'.

TONE of voice has A LOT to do with how you either give advice or scold. If you have input on a conversation you were NOT a part of, keep it to yourself. BUT if your ASKED then go for it.

Take a few days for yourself. Go camp somewhere and RELAX. Watch a sunrise, sunset, enjoy the shade, Take a nap under a tree. . .
