Will i die?
i sleep only five or six hours a night. i work hard during the day. i work eight hours a day. it all the sleep i can get. i only have two more nights of this. will i die? i heard you can die if you never sleep. is this true. am i going to die? i went to nights without sleeping once and i was puking. what if i dont sleep tonight? will i die?

Dear Starla.........in all my years in the medical profession I have never heard of anyone dying from lack of sleep. I have heard of other symptoms such as hallucinations, eating disorders etc. Don't worry about this being fatal but try to adjust your schedule so that you get the appropriate amount of sleep. Everyone is different with regard to their requirement. Find out what yours is and ensure that you get enough sleep to function appropriately. best wishes
