How do I deal with my sister?

She's bipolar and running up bills, putting it on us to pay, and giving my mom bad credit...she's an adult! It's making my mom work extra hard........I end up paying for it because I don't want her to work so hard...

no we don't live together.....my mom co-signed for her car and now my sister won't pay crap and the banks are taking money out of my mom's account so now I have to help my mom cause she's behind the bills cause of my sister.....and she won't give up the car......

and ya she has bi-polar but refuses to get prof. help...

Is she taking med's? If not you should get her into seeing someone. Bi Polar doesnt treat itself, it will get worse and worse. If she is medicated she needs to talk to her Doctor now, only a health profession can assess her drug requirement and if she is doing that stuff her drugs need adjusting.

Edit: Bi Polar is the only depressive illness that is medical, she needs help now ... if she wont help herself, then you have to step up and help her. Talk to your Doctor, get some advice on how best to get her the help she needs. She may need to be institutionalised for a short time, it all depends on how far her illness has progressed.
