I have to go in front of a SS judge,I have been there be fore but I dont know ho!

I have to go in front of a SS judge,I have been there be fore but I dont know how to explain my illness to him

I have a lawyer but she always wants me to talk for myself .I have servel phys illness and Iam bi-polar I dont know what to say I thought my doctors and lawyer was suppose do help me been fighting for my disablity for 5 years the fed judge sided with me now I have to go back to ss judge hope this is enough for you all to help me.

Dear Mary..I wish you the very best of luck with your situation. When I was faced with this I was fortunate enough to have a therapist who went to court with me and spoke to the judge. She was able to explain the ordeal that I was going through much better than I was. My lawyer just didn't know enough about mental illness and didn't feel comfortable talking to the judge about it. If you don't have a therapist who is willing to do this then I suggest you contact your local mental health association. Oftentimes they will provide an "omsbudsman" who will go to court with you.
