Can someone tell me what "penis envy" is?!

Can someone tell me what "penis envy" is?

I've heard this tearm before but I'm not quite sure what it is. And I have also heard that it is normal for girls to have it... This is strictly for my information only. I heard someone mention it earlier and I was totally clueless!

"Penis envy" is a backlash term developed during the women's movement; many men felt that the only reason a lot of women insisted on their "freedom" from archaic social rules and customs was that they were envious of the fact that men had penises and they didn't. Personally, I never wanted one. Those things cause entirely too much trouble.
