I want to be a quitter?!

Question:

I want to be a quitter?

I've been trying to kick the smoking habit for years. Sad to say, I'm still not having any luck. I don't think it's the whole addictive problem either so much as it's the routine stuff. Like just the thought of me driving into work and not smoking a cigarette puts me on edge already... If you've quit smoking and found this to be the most difficult part too, what are some things you did to help distract your mind from the routine you were use to?

Answers:

It's great that you want to quit, but quitting anything is very difficult. You should try joining a support group. On the website www.addicted.com there is a forum for smoking and people that have gone through or are going through the same thing will probably be very helpful. Try medicine or chewing gum whenever you get a craving. Even like the patch may help and it will get you off smoking. Good luck! Hang in there, I know it's hard.
