Question:
How long does it take for xanex to work ?
I take xanex .5 mg tablets and prescribed it as 2 times a day ... I use it when I get anxious ... I want to know when the best time to take it is ... for example if I know I am going to be around alot of people ( say a concert with a large crowd) at 7pm ... when do I take it for best results ? How long does it take to be in effect ... and how long until the xanex "peaks" ?

Hi - It is different for each person and things like an empty stomach or a full one matter - but in general it takes about an hour for it to start to work and about 2 for the full effect.
And I agree with the first answerer. Please be careful to only use it when you really need to - it is very addictive and hard to get off of it when you get too used to having it all the time.
