I've lost some motivation to bicycle to town & to stop by @ an ex girlfriend on the way?

I just have not been out since I bought it new & I had other bikes & had rode the year before just afraid I think of somebody stealing it or breaking the shifters out side or cutting the lock by hack saw etc!!! Plus I had seen her at group homes before. so i need motivation

I'm not sure I understand the ex-girlfriend bit, but about the bike. You bought it now ride it. Use a chain and even if someone steals it, it's not the end of the world!
