Headaches and wellbutrin?!

Question:

Headaches and wellbutrin?

i've been on zoloft for like 5 years. recently i've been telling my doctor how fatigued i always am, so he added wellbutrin. i think i've been on it for like a week, but the last couple of days i've had this annoying headache that won't go away. i feel like its...in my eyes or something and light hurts sometimes. but it's not horribly painful or anything, just sooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying.
is this going to go away? because i'm not really tired anymore. in fact, i'm good on like 8 hours of sleep like a normal person now. instead of before i was always tired. i dont wanna get off it! i just want the headaches to go away :(

The exact same thing happened to me. It was exactly as you described with eyestrain and photosensitvity. I even wore sunglasses inside for a few days because it got so bad (like a celebrity, lol!). After a few weeks, it just stopped.
It's not the most common side effect, but it does happen. After several months, I still get the odd headache, but the drug has been worth it. You can take Advil and Tylenol liquid caps, but don't take OTC migraine medicine. The caffeine and Wellbutrin don't mix so well.
Hang in there and good luck!
