Do Other People Do This: Practice Arguments So That If Situation Occurs.....?!

Question:

Do Other People Do This: Practice Arguments So That If Situation Occurs.....?

Over the years I have never (well hardly) answered back when in arguements.

When I was younger I would sit there and take the s@@t.

But now I am older I find myself increasingly wound up by situations in the past.
And it has got to the stage where now I am practicing in a quiet voice situations that have happened in the past and how I should have reacted for when the time occurs.
And I am practicing for arguments for if and when they occur.

(Hope you are following me)

I react to arguments that happened some time ago and think 'why didn't I say that at the time?

Is this normal to be like this?

Also do people practice in their heads for arguments so that they have all the facts or is it just go with the flow?

Any help appreciated.

Ta

I have brain stormed these points so apologise if it might sound a bit like gobbldy **** :)

Answers:

Whenever I go running, I do go through possible arguments in my head, and think of certain things I'd like to say if the opportunity came up. However, I have since been in arguments that I've "pre-rehearsed" and they don't go at ALL the ay I thought or practised!!!
