I dont know what is wrong?

I am very smart i get good grades and im in the excelerated class and whenever someone needs any help or an idea i think of an amazing idea and/or help the person out greatly. But when the school year is over its like my brain shuts down. Its not like i become a total retarde or anything but i do stupid stuff that i know i would do if i was at school or during the school year. What is wrong with me?

Sounds to me like your mind wants a break. Go have some fun. Sure you can try to make your life all about school and helping others but if you do not give your self some fun time you might get bored with life.

Usually I have much better insight but based on the very limited info you have given I find it hard to give better advice.

For example what do you mean when you say your brain shuts down. Are you having thoughts, no thoughts, racing thoughts, finding it hard to focus. My own question for you is 'If it is the end of the school year what activity are you trying to engage in where you find your brain shuts down?'
