Can somebody explain what bipolar depression is?!
Question:
Can somebody explain what bipolar depression is?
Answers:
A diagnosis of bipolar is an indication of an illness that is expressed by severe mood swings and behavior. The possible cause is a chemical imbalance (lack of serotonin in some instances) or physical inability of neurotransmitters and uptake receptors. The result can be seen as behavior that swings from suicidal depression to hyperactivity and flight of ideas. The current medications are anti-depressants and/or lithium. While there are side effects form some of the meds, there have also been excellent results in modifying the extremes of behavior.
