Can i faint because of stress?!

Question:

Can i faint because of stress?

about 2 weeks ago i told my rents that my best friends dad had gone to jail for 4 years, her boyfriend lived with her, and that my boyfriend and i have sex. They went crazy and told me that i was not allowed to go to my best friends house anymore not allowed to go to my boyfriends house anymore and when he came over we had to sit right next to my rents and if we wanted to go anywhere they have to go with us. they just kept yellin and yellin and of course all i could do was cry. then the next day my dads cousin died and that was very hard. the next day i woke up with horrible stomach cramps and when i using the rest room i started sweating, shaking and my heart started racing so i went to my mom. i could hardly walk, she had to hold me up to keep me from falling. Also i could hardly see. she sat me down and gave me water i threw up twice then was fine for the rest of the day. Yesterday they took my phone cuz i deleted my texts nd freaked out and i got sick again. could it be 4rm stress?

Answers:

Yes, you can faint because of stress.
Now, I can't be totally sure because I didn't witness it, but it is possible that you experienced a panic attack.

Signs and symptoms of a panic attack may include:

Racing heart beat
Sweating
Trembling
Shortness of breath
Chills
Hot flashes
Nausea
Stomach cramping
Chest pain
Headache
Dizziness
Faintness
Tightness in your throat
Trouble swallowing
A sense of impending death

Some people with anxiety will have a lot of panic attacks. However, it is not uncommon for someone who is under a lot of stress to have one. I had a panic attack once and it was pretty scary. I couldn't breathe or talk and it felt like the world was crumbling down around me.

If this is the only panic attack you experience, you will probably be fine. If you have more or an increase in anxiety, you may want to look into seeing a psychologist.
