Will you share your experience with Lexapro?
Never been on meds before and yesterday my doc prescribed Lexapro. I was curious if anyone has anything good or bad to say about it? Thanks!

I've been taking Lexapro since November. I'm very thankful that my doc prescribed me this drug. I was struggling with depression, anxiety, and impulsive behavior - all of which has now been drastically decreased. The only side effect I experienced was excessive yawning, and that went away within a couple of days.
Lexapro is definitely worth a try. However, it's important to remember that it needs to be taken as prescribed, and remember not to quit taking it unless the doctor tapers you off...you'll feel REALLY icky if you don't.
