Does anyone have mild dissociation(depersonalization or derealization) without s!
Question:
Does anyone have mild dissociation(depersonaliz... or derealization) without suffering from mental illness?
I go through days where I have a mild form of what appears to be derealization. I study/research in the mental health field and am educated about the more severe forms of most mental health issues. I wonder if anyone else suffers from a mild form of dissociation. I don't have any mental health issues that are severe (that I know of).
An example, last Friday I felt this way. Totally spaced out, in a haze as if I am sitting within myself and not really interacting with anyone. I nearly went home, as I have a challenging profession which involves interaction with alot of people. I find it truly difficult to talk to people or focus on anything when this happens. Does anyone have any similar experiences? This happens once in a while, and goes away after a day- on Friday it went away after I went to the gym.
Answers:
Definitely continue exercising and also make sure you getting all the vitamins you need. the B's are really important. Also, eat more veggies, it helps me. Personally, I think because you work with psychiatric issues, you are more prone to over analyze yourself. If you really feel like it's a problem, I would suggest getting help from a professional. Good luck!
