How can I STOP SOMATIZING? HELP?

I have a problem, my problem is that I somatize when I am anxious.

Please the one who is experienced to improve this problem, I need help

I suffered from SEVERE back pain. I went to neurological/neurosurgical specialists and they each ordered their own tests. I had six injections of cortisone in my spine while they looked through a fluoroscope (2 times). There was nothing biologically wrong with me. I got addicted to Vicodin and Clonipin. I was finally sent to a psychologist. I was diagnosed with major depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. I had kept my feelings inside most of my whole life. It got to the point that my subconscious decided it was time for me to face whatever I had avoided my whole life and it got my attention by producing pain that could not be ignored. I was in therapy for about two years before my pain started to decrease. I learned that when I had pain, I was emotionally upset about something, whether is was conscious or not. Once I realized how my mind affected my body, I learned how to manage the pain. I am in my tenth year of therapy. My therapist teaches mindfulness. It has really helped. You can get books at the library on mindfulness. Your best chance of getting well is to find a psychologist that practices psychoanalysis and mindfulness.
