i suffer from slight paranoia and delusion (as a result of my mood disorder) and i've got it bad today!
I went to the pub and played the guitar (cos thats what i love to do!) the people inside didn't know me but the liked my playing and gave me a free pint. then i got the HORRIBLE and disturbing thoughts...
... what if the person had AIDS and put the infection in the pint. bizzar? i know, but i cant shake the thought. Please, pleas help me sort this out. i'm gonna die. im gonna die

why did the pint taste so weird?
oh!!! why does this have to happen to me ...

well u no im not a professional but...
-ppl do not try to give other ppl AIDS.
-u already clearly understand that this thought is a product of ur paranoia.
-there is no use even going over the fact that putting AIDS in ur pint-- possibly thru blood or semon-- is an impractical and ineffective method of transmitting the disease BECAUSE...
-nobody wud do it anyway.
-the fact that u think it tastes weird is likely in ur head
-tho its not like u HAV to drink it anyway-- u shudnt think to urself that by not drinking it ud be giving in to ur paranoia.
-remain calm about the choices u make as a result of ur thoughts, as long as they dont bring harm, and in some way comfort u.
-just remember that the reason u arent -for instance- drinking the pint is not because there actually might be AIDS in it (cuz there is NOT), but because not drinking it is wat u know will help u act calm in the situation.
-u are not going to die from AIDS, because u are not going to get it from something you drink.
-no one is EVER going to TRY to give u AIDS
