Crying myself to sleep?

i keep crying myself to sleep and i dont know why also i was a cutter and i havent cut in over a week maybe to weeks and my wrists r throbbing whats wrong with me?

Answers:

I think that more than likely you are still in need of coping skills. Crying however is more healthy than cutting. It won't last forever. Try going for a run during the day. Get lots of sunshine, it improves your mood. Keep busy and when night time comes tell yourself, I may cry but I am not going to cut. If I cry I will survive and if I cut I may not. Crying is natural. Depression is obviously an issue for you. Do you have a good support system? If you do sit your family members down and tell them what you are going through. Let them know you need help dealing with this change in your life. You might even consider some antidepressant medications. They usually take about 2 weeks to really work but it would be worth it. Some of them are anti anxiety as well. Good luck, you should be very proud of your self. You are doing well not to have cut again. Cry on if you need to. When I am down I go for a walk in the sunshine. If I still don't feel any better I sit someone who cares about me down and we have a heart to heart. I have resorted to antidepressants and anti anxiety medications, they do help.
