There are two kinds of anxiety. There's the feeling we get every now and then when thinking about the future or something that in the past was stressful, and you're worried about. Sometimes this anxiety is a good thing, it may motivate us to be better prepared the next time we must do something stressful, such as making a speech. Better preparation can reduce anxiety. The same goes for an upcoming test or deadline at work.
Then there's the clinical kind of anxiety, the type that is debilitating and seriously causes problems enjoying life and accomplishing goals. If you believe you have this problem, you should talk to a mental health expert. You may have a biological predisposition to depression or anxiety, and may need professional help. But talk to a professional, don't rely on a book or an online test.
