Why cant i just be over issues?

seriously, things from teh past, not like i was raped or anything but yeah things that make me hold back, get anxiety, and panic attacks, to the point that i just cry and try to just BE, and get my mind off of whatever IT IS. i hate it, for awhile being at my pastors house, it was calming and peaceful place... but that whole thing is weird now. it just seems like i never get over, whatever i am on...

Sorry to hear your story. Here are some foolproof ways of getting rid of panic attacks and social anxiety.

1.Breathing properly will control your panic. As soon as you notice the signs of anxiety, check your breathing: breathe in slowly through your nose pushing your tummy out (to the count of 5 or so). Breathe out slowly and for a bit longer (to the count of 7 or so) through your mouth. Do not breathe rapidly or shallowly (in the chest area). This will soon restore the balance of oxygen and you will feel a lot, lot better. Once you start practising, it’ll become second nature.

2. Also I would really advise a course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT is proven to be the most effective thing for panic attacks (and stress, anxiety etc). It takes a bit of work, but if you put the effort in it’s super effective.
