Pmdd issues-scared bf will leave!!?!

Question:

Pmdd issues-scared bf will leave!!?

i was just recently diagnosed with pmdd and wanted to know if there are any other women out there going through this same thing.

i have horrid mood swings(crying spells, irritable, snap at everything, etc) about a week before my period starts and then once it starts-the symptoms disappear.

my dr put me on yaz birth control pills and they work great but they are not covered by my insurance and cost about 50 bucks a month. i'm a single mom of 3 so this month i was unable to get my pills and the symptoms returned.

i spent the past 4 days treating my bf so badly that we got into a huge fight today and i'm worried that he'll leave. he did tell me that he loved me when we left for work (we both work nites) and that he just needed a few days of space to calm down and relax.

i hate having this condition-it makes me almost suicidal each month and my bf is getting the brunt of it all. i'm so worried that he'll leave. i see a counselor but the pills are what works but they cost so much!

during the fight-i finally told my bf that i couldn't afford to get my pills and he said "well y didnt you tell me that in the first place?" then he said that it made a little more sense to him.

i know he loves me but i was wondering what i can do to avoid him leaving me-this is a horrible situation for him and i want to make it better.

has anyone else gone through this-what works for you?!!
