Anyone on Lamictal for Bipolar 2? I am not getting any relief from my depression and anxiety.?
I just started taking the initial 25mg. dose at night along with seroquel to help me sleep. I am supposed to increase to 50 mg. next week, and 75 the following week. Right now, I feel absolutely terrible: feel like crying all the time; staying in the house as much as I can; thinking of death and suicide often, etc... I am really struggling, and looking for some help. Will the depression and anxiety ever go away? Is there anything I can do to help myself? What about electro-convulsive therapy? I will try anything.

aww hun hang in there you need to let it build up so it can work it might take a few weeks what you can do is ask the dr if you can get something to take til the others kick in. electro-convulsive therapy sounds like something from the dark ages. Have you had a blood sugar test done low blood sugar can give you anxiety and nervousness's .. Like I said tho i would ask the Dr for something like ativan. til the other meds work ...
