My strange gf?

she cuts herself and has scars everywhere. I dont mind either way as it's no biggie but what am I supposed to say. am I meant to ignore them? say I like them? say I dont like them? Im scared if Im all mushy and like touch them and all she might think i want them and do it again. but if I act as though I dont like them, she might get upset about her body and think it's repulsive and all that. what to do?

Hi there..if she has cut before it may mean that she is using cutting as a way to deal with her emotions..many people who cut say that cutting releases the pressure so to speak of their feelings and emotions...
Could she have suffered something traumatic in the past? Has she been through something recently..??
Never ignore someone who cuts...it can be a cry for help...it is usually their outlet for something deeper..
please Please have a chat with her...do not critisize her and don't shout at her...try to be positive,, sit her down and say something like...."I love your body very much and I love you..but I am a bit concerned that you cut yourself..your not ugly and your very beautiful to me..but because I love you I am going to ask you why it is that you cut yourself? is there any reason ?? is there something I can do to help?
Stay postive and if she flys off the handle just let her go and don't shout back..just let her be..Tell her its not that you don't like them but it hurts you to see her hurting HERSELF like that....
Someone who feels the need to act violently towards themselves may be feeling things deep inside and its their only outlet ...Maybe see if she can talk to someone else close or perhaps get her to search the net for help
NO ONE should cut themselves and she might be left with deep scars ...and emotionally in the long run it does not help.
