How much does it cost to put someone in a mental home?
Excuse the phrasing.
My boss is looking to open a care home specialising in the mentally disabled, so I was just wondering how much you are paid per week to look after that person (round the clock care dont forget and I'm talking mentally ill, not just old)

I just need to say, I wont be working there, I am his book-keeper. Just wondered how much he would be paid privately or social service to have that person in his care.
Answers:
It depends on the support needed for that person you can contact your local social services and they may give you more advice having previously worked within social services i am aware we used to pay between £500 - £1500 as i say it depends on the persons needs. You need to be council approved also with qualified staff. but i would first contact the council for there advice
