Wellbutrin?!

Wellbutrin?
Did it work for you and how long did you take it before you felt it's effects? I've been taking for a week and nothing yet.
Answers:
It only took a few days for me to work, and this is considered FAST, most people take a couple of weeks. I took it for PMDD (Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and I never really had any side effect except if I woke up early in the morning, I was up for the day, and occasional dry mouth. This will sound stupid, but to notice that it is working, (for me) was to not notice anything at all. I all of a sudden just felt normal with no heavy DOWN mood swings. One thing about Wellbutrin that is frequently misunderstood, is that unlike most other anti-depressants, you WILL still feel your moods. You WILL cry if it is appropriate, you WILL get mad and you WILL be able to laugh and be creative. However if it is working, you won't be so sad you can't get off the couch, you won't think you have nothing to offer people in conversation and you won't hate yourself. Frankly you will feel, normal. If you are still feeling horribly sad in a week, you may want to talk to your Doctor as the dosage may not be right, or the medicine just isn't for your condition! GOOD LUCK and hang in there!!!
