Homesickness help?

i am leaving for camp in like 9 days and i am really scared that i am going to get homesick. last year it got so bad i had to come home a week early. but i really dont want a replay of that and i just want to make new friends and have a great time and not get really homesick like last time. any advice? PLEASE HELPPPP!

Take some family pictures with you, bring stuff to take picutres yourself and mail the film back to your family. Try not to focus on your family to much but focus on the fun stuff and new friends you have going on at camp. This is going to be hard but just know that they are there missing you as well. You can do It I have faith in you!! Just remember to have fun!!
