If you have been on Seroquel do you know a alternative med for anxiety without the weight gain?

I have been on Seroquel for a few years now it works for my anxiety but has caused me to gain ALOT of weight. My Doctor doesn't seem to know of anything else that will not make me gain weight. I want to lose at least 50 lbs or more.

Answers:

I can speak for Neurontin. It is the best anti anxiety drug that is not a benzo (highly addicting). I have no side effects at all.
