Can anyone who has taken wellbutrin for depression give me an idea of it's effec!

Can anyone who has taken wellbutrin for depression give me an idea of it's effectiveness?

It's been very effective for me. I had been on various antidepressants for over a year before I got on Wellbutrin and none of them worked as well or as long as Wellbutrin. I've been on Wellbutrin since October 2003. I do have to take it in combination with Lexapro because my depression has been tricky to medicate. I've had little to no side effects. No weight gain and there's minimal sexual side effects with it. My biggest problem with it (and this isn't really a big problem...I deal with it) is that it raises my body temperature a little bit, so I often feel hot and sweat quicker doing some activities than most people probably would. Even that's not severe though. I'm really happy with Wellbutrin. However, different antidepressants work differently in different people. What may work great for me may not be great for you and vice versa. It just depends on how the medication interacts with your natural body chemistry. Hope this helps.
