Are some people just not "made for work"?
that might sound lazy, but in actuality, i am far from it!! i am the most industrious person. i do a great job and am always do more than others and better, even though i am not recognized for it. but, i just feel like, the work system, socially, politically, organizationally, whatever you want to call it, just doesn't make sense to me. I don't know how to promote myself and defend myself when people try to make it look like i said soemthing or did something wrong.
i've been out of college for several years, and had as many jobs (and periods of unemployment and currently only part employment) and i've felt like a failure, to some degree or another in every single one of them. not because i am incapable of doing work, but because i just seem incapable of .. i dunno, surviving in a workplace? preventing people from sabotaging me? and it all seems so insidious, like, things people say in passing, or when i am not around, and I just feel like i am not made for this.
