Why do I find cutting interesting?!

Why do I find cutting interesting?
I would never do it to myself, i feel queasy just thinking about, and seeing it on tv. My friend cuts herself and I wish she'd stopp, and i find it toture to watch it. but yet i like to read about it, and watching t.v shows and movies that have it in there. is that weird?

Human nature, curiosity... we're drawn to things that make us uncomfortable. Just because I like to read books about murder, it doesn't mean I am a murderer :-)
