Havin a Hard time?

Depressed I think i have social anxiety..Lost my job broke and sad....

yep, I know what your going through.
I have anxiety disorder. It sux! I have panic attacks and if someone hasn't had a panic attack there is no way to explain it to them.
The best thing that i ever did was go to a place called compass health.
Every county has a mental health service for people who do not have insurance or a butt load of money.
what typically happens when you go to the doc. is they tell you to get counseling and then give you numbers of places you can go to.
You could also call the department of social and health services and they will refer you to the right place.
When you get to the counseling office ( at least this is how it works here) you see a couselor who determines whether or not you need to be evaluated by the Doctor who can write prescriptions. Tell that person you need to see the doctor, do not hold back on your symptoms and be very direct about your intentions of needing to feel better and needing to see a doc about anti depressants.
Then when you see te doc tell him/her what your going through and take the meds prescribed. It will take about 3-4 weeks but you will feel better and every day of the 3-4 weeks is better than the day before.
My doctor started me on Lexapro and Xanax.
Lexapro for depression and anxiety and Xanax for the awful panic attacks, I got to the point I was afraid to leave my own house. The thought of having to see and speak with my neighbors or anyone else was too much for me.
I still suffer from panic atacks but now I have meds to make it go away and I don't get them nearly as often.
Please see a doctor, it really does help and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I promise!
