What are airlines doing to keep terrorists from boarding US planes?

There are long, drawn out security checks for EVERYONE, they also scan each checked bag before putting it on a plane. There is also a blacklist of known terrorist suspects. If their name comes up on that list, they don't get on the plane.
There are also air marshals on several flights, in case a group of them are able to make it on.
