Postnatal depression?!

Postnatal depression?

what are they symptoms, can you have it long term? my son is 14months old and I love him so much but sometimes I feel numb, and I have lost alot of emotion for my husband, i know i love him but alot of the time i dont feel it, i don't want to have sex, we maybe have it once every month, maybe. BUt only when I initiate, i hate hime being affectionate with me, especially in public, we fight heaps now and i stress and yell over small things. I am clumbsy and bewildered and incoherent at times, also I was really stressed out about cot death when my son was first born and haven't been able to move hime out of our room yet. please help!!
PS, sometimes i want to be around my friends and other times i totally withdraw and don't want to catch up for weeks.

Sure sounds like whatever your problem is, it's hormonal. Doesn't exactly sound like postpartum. See a Doctor & get tested out, then seek therapy, a hormonal imbalance may be your problem. Also could be a Hyoglycemic, or Hyper, these also change the personality, cold sweats, dementia, or diabetes. Until you do see a proffessional, just think, this isn't me, take some deep breaths & try to change that emotion, you may not be able to... but try concentrating. Stay away from a lot of sugar, starch et. Good luck
