I know i need help for depression, but.......?

i just don't feel comfortable with going to my parents. i know i will never work up the courage to go to them. if they are my only option i porbably will never get help. schools out = no school counselor. not religious = no preist or church people. and i have no adult family members where i am living, except my parents. i just want to get help, but i really really can't go to my parents, i just can't.

Try the national alliance for the mentally ill- they could try to find you resources to assess yourself.

Eventually, you will probably have to speak to your parents, as they will be paying the insurance. If they are part of the problem, make sure to speak to another adult (teacher or social worker who can assess danger)
