Is this weird??
So basically, I have depression and an anxiety disorder. I've just come out about it (told my family and friends) and gotten help. Now, whenever I see like a commercial for anti-depressants or a TV show where they joke about depression, I feel really...uncomfortable. I have not been diagnosed yet and so I haven't told everyone about my depression so I guess it makes me feel like this makes them realize I have it or something? Is this strange??

not strange at all. you feel uncomfortable but really you shouldn't try not to. and you are probalby thinking aobut it thinkilng they are etd. antidepressants work in aobut 2-3 weeks you will fell mcuh better I hope your life situtation is one that gets better too ... not one should be depressed life is great. try to smile more an dlook on the bright side takes walks etc. people who may make you uncomfortable need to be told how you feel, if they continue forget them ... take care of yourself.
