What should I do if I feel close to a break down?!

Question:

What should I do if I feel close to a break down?

The past two months have been bringing me down. It started when my ex and I were having problems in the relationship, then we broke up. I took on more hours at work (I work 2 jobs), I'm dating a really great guy, but I still think about my ex and his mind games (texting me he misses me a lot but he won't talk to me.) I get about 4 hours of sleep a night. I feel like I want to run away from my world to get away from everything. I feel mentally and physically tired. What should I do?

Answers:

first off, breathe. damn, if you have that much going on.... no wonder.
then eliminate something. send a text to the ex and simply say, "stop harassing me." you know it is head games and so does he.

then talk to the new bf and tell him what is going on. it will help to have someone physically there to talk to. next thing is, drop some of those hours, if you can't drop one of those jobs. I wouldn't work two jobs for any reason. There is not a thing worth my mental health.

Next thing is to take about three days off and take a sleep aid like Nytol or something your doctor can prescribe, that way you get plenty of sleep. No work, no housecleaning, NOTHING is allowed on those days that even remotely resemble work.

when life starts to level out again, see a therapist. it is not a psychiatrist it is a person who will listen, advise and talk to you.
