Lexapro and side effects?!

Lexapro and side effects?

I was just put on Lexapro 10mg and i heard that some antidepressants can cause suicidal thoughts... has anyone had these side effects from taking Lexapro? and is anyone taking a higher dosage?

also i hear you can become dependent to certain medications, is Lexapro one of these? how long should i stay on the medication, so far im set for a month


Answers:

No this is usually only a side effect for teenagers. I have been on Lexapro for a while now and I LOVE it!!! You will be very tired for the first couple weeks but that goes a way.
