my mom told me that every hour of sleep you get before midnight counts for four hours. Is that true, or is it an urban myth?

Whoops, so sorry--I meant TWO hours, not four. I don't know where I got four, but yeah. I meant two.
Answers:
If that were true - you could go to sleep at 10 pm and wake up at midnight. That would give you a full 8 hours sleep and you could party all night until 10 pm the next night and do it all again.
Now......what do you think?
