Will I ever feel complete, again.........?
I feel so sad all the time......Just when I start feeling happy, my husband will say something hurtful and it comes back again. Ever since I lost my mom 8 months ago....She took a piece of me with her, and seems like nothing will ever be the same....More than ever I realize, that I'm all alone. My husband adds to my misery. He doesn't understand how I feel, and only says things that hurt me. I wish he would hold me, and tell me everthings going to be okay......... I've tried everything there is to try.....I'm tired of trying..... Two days ago, I was at a 4-way stop, and a truck ran the stop......crashed into the big rig turning in front of me. I wasn't scared, I found myself wishing he would of hit me instead.........He would have got me on my side, and it would have ended in a second...........I know I feel this way now, but one day ......Maybe I'll feel whole again..............

Dear Star.....from your perspective, right now, you can not possibly see any hope for yourself. It is unfortunate that your husband is not supportive. You need to get professional help and get on some depression medication. Preferably one of the SSRI's. They DO work and I am a classic example. If you go to Miami New Times on the web and search "The Last Temptation of George Petrie" you will see that I reached the same level that you are currently at. I finally started taking Prozac and after a month I was stronger than ever. I have turned my life around. When I read your story I get goosebumps because I remember how painful my life was during that time. I always tell people....if I had diabetes people would have understood but I had depression and most people would only say "get over it".......Best wishes to you
