Recovering anorexic w/ question?!

Question:

Recovering anorexic w/ question?

Hi. I've been trying to recover from my eating disorder for past month. I've significantly increased my caloric intake. I was generally eating between 800-1200 and I was (and still am) incredibly active and worked out a ton.
Now I generally eat between 2000-2500, maybe more. This is very hard for me to deal with, but I'm really craving carbs and crackers and protein, so I go at it. Afterwards I feel TERRIBLE. It's been like this for 3 weeks.

My question is, when will my body stop craving these foods so much and my hunger simmer down? I've gained 4-5 pounds already (i'm 5'4" and 94/95 i think) Does the body stop eating eating eating when the organs rebuild themselves? It's hard for me to cope with this feeling of being out of control. The weight gain is hard too. It's not incredibly noticable, just in the face, but I just hope it stops soon!
I really want out of this disease, but the thoughts are probably going to lead me back to relapse, and I don't want that!

Answers:

Yes the cravings for foods that generally cause weight gain will stop! The body craves what it needs to rebuild itself. As you start to gain weight your hunger will return to normal and your cravings will settle down. Also, dont worry about the weight gain! you way 95 pounds for gods sake! you can stand to gain a good bit of weight. Finally, best of luck battling the disease, if you feel you might slip back into it, you should really find either a family member or friend who will hold you accountable and support you through it all! best of luck and eat up!
