I take 1 Xanax before bed ONLY when I'm feel anxious....?

Lately I've been having headaches after I take them, could it be the Xanax that's causing these headaches almost everytime I take them?

This can definitely be caused by the xanax. A small percentage of patients experience headaches from this medication. I would like to suggest that you consult with your physician regarding the dose. Perhaps adjusting it might alleviate this problem.. Also, consult your physician regarding taking the xanax at night before bedtime. There are other medications that can be taken to facilitate sleep, while xanax generally will help you with anxiety during your waking hours. Best wishes to you.....
