Just wanted some feedback on anyone taking Abilify?!

Just wanted some feedback on anyone taking Abilify?

I am prescribed 10mgs of Abilify in the morning.........50mgs of Serequel at night(to help me sleep) and .5mgs of Xanax whenever needed. The reason my Dr. put me on Abilify is because I have severe mood swings. Not the bi-polor kind. I just sometimes feel out of control of very simple situations and become mad or scared or sad or....just any kind of negative feeling really. The serequel is prescribed to help me sleep....and OMGoodness,it works. The xanax I have been taking for 4 years now. My Dr has tried me on Lithium.....didnt work.....Giodon(?)........didn... work , and various anti-depression pills. Anti-depressants make things worse for me.
Could you guys ,who are on or have been on Abilify, give me alittle insight. I have researched the web and read other postings similar to mine on Yahoo Answers. My Dr. is too busy to answer my detailed questions, and I know you guys will help.

There are lots of new substances coming out. Check out www.neurotransmitter.net for new drugs. If you haven't already, ask around for a good therapist. Sometimes therapy can provide other ways to deal with what you're dealing with. Is your Dr. a psychiatrist? If so, you should be able to get a detailed question answered... if not, find a different doctor. Your health is not something to be hurried or rushed by someone who is "too busy" or just doesn't know.
