What do you do when you're depressed?

How do you make yourself feel better?

Sometimes out of the blue I just feel so depressed for no apparent reason at all.


Answers:

Based on the questions you've asked it does seem like you need to seek therapy. Sometimes a chemical imbalance in the brain could be to blame in which case medication is available that will make you feel better. It helps in combination with talk therapy. One of the things you can work on in therapy sessions is being more social and meeting people as well! You may have a form of social anxiety disorder (but really I'm no doctor so you should seek the advice of a professional for official diagnosis).

I actually went through therapy many years ago and I'm glad I did! It has helped in sooo many ways! Depression happens...especially in the GLBT community.
