Help, i feel so guilty about everything. Like absolutely everything...help?

How do i stop the guilt and panicky feeling that i get often? I find that i get anxiety, panicky and i feel really trapped alot of the time. I need some methods to get me through this all...any ideas? I don't want to tell anyone how i feel because they do't know half of the reason why these problems even exist, and i don't want them to think i'm not handling these situations well...

first of all, good for you for trying to find ways to deal with your anxiety. that's the absolute first step! i will suggest seeking out a mental health professional to speak with, it can be someplace as casual as catholic charities or a counselor at school. i know you said you dont want to tell anyone, but these people are, in most cases, required to keep any info you share confidential, and they can act as an objective third party, and a sounding board for you to bounce ideas off of. without knowing what the specifics are, there are a lot fo different coping mechanisms you can use. journaling is a great way to sort out your ideas and reflect on them. also, do you have a hobby you enjoy? activity often helps to give us time to calm down when we get upset, even if it is by distractional means. do you like to exercise? how about listening to music? think of something you can do that you enjoy that will provide you with an outlet for some of the anxiety.
