Car Anxiety?

I've been having some real problems lately. I have been in at least six car accidents (none were my fault), three of which were severe enough to total the car. On my last accident, I was hit by a moron driving an 18-wheeler. My car spun over two lanes and hit a guardrail at 70mph. Ever since then I just cant drive more than about 50 miles. I'll get an uncontrollable headache, my eyes get sore, and my legs hurt. When driving in traffic now, I yell, scream, and cuss at other bad drivers...its bad enough that my GF won't let me drive. Even on a trip that I took just six hours away, I chose to spend an extra $100 for a train ticket than drive!

On top of all this, I will be moving soon and will need to drive much more often. I know I need help, but my father (who's health insurance I'm still on) has had a lot of hypochondriac people in his family and is a "tough it out" kind of guy...but I just can't do that anymore. What should I do? Are there herbal suppliments that will work?

About the accidents: I should clarify them more. Three were involved with deer, three were car-to-car accidents. One of the deer accidents totalled my car. The car-to-cars were two rear endings and a sideswipe by a truck.

Truth be told, I'm a safe driver...never had a single ticket in my five years of driving. Just after that bad accident with the 18 wheeler, I've lost it.

Well ginger supplements will work with nausea, I don't know about car anxiety.

I have it really bad, so bad that I will just get rid of my car and take the bus for awhile. Then I get worried about drive by shootings while I wait for the bus at night.

I take some ativan, its like Valium. It helps. Try to get some sort of anti-anxiety medication. Essentially you are a danger on the road until you take care of it.
