Is medication controlling me?

Ive been taking paxil for almost 2 months now for generized anaiexty.ocd,depression but mostly aniexty.My question is im very paranoid to be on presciption drugs i had no other choice though i was about to give up on life.I feel fine and the paxil is working but i still freak myself out thinking are these drugs messing with my brain and controlling me? I just get scred of that can someone tell me exactly what these drugs do to ur brain and how they affect you.My doctor didnt seem to well educated on the drug.(doesnt surprise me).anyways i just need some reaasurence even now they are helping i still get freaked out taking the drug.Please no ahole remarks.thank you all answers aprreciated.

hey..My sister takes Paxil.Our brains are full of all kinds of componds and chemicals.your brain is amazing.You said you were doing fine but were anxious and paranoid about its effects.You research more about it on the internet.You could write to the drug company and express your interests and concerns.One thing i do is that if i dont know something.I dont have the facts before me.I try( try) never to assume something.Assumption can be totally wrong cause you to worry too much.Sometimes paranoia will not accept new infromaton.
For my sister my family and I.We had a lot of emotional cjallenges growing up.I know that is whay my sister takes Paxil.I still with some strong emotional and relational conflicts.I am always looking forwardnot behind to a better way to communicate relate express .The way i do it is to confront my weaknesses and fears and ( although it was difficult) I totally accept myself as i am with all my strengths weakness.I urge you to go toward your difficulties and not! away
