I'm alone and have suicidal thoughts, is there a support group for me?!

Question:

I'm alone and have suicidal thoughts, is there a support group for me?

i don't have any friends who can help and no family to speak of. Is there a support group in Seattle? I have a disability that people make negative comments about on a daily basis, my job is not understanding of my depression, and I don't have anyone to call on about my problems. I am alone and don't want to be. I've made an attempt at making friends but its difficult in a new city with my disability. I'm blind in one eye and its obvious even with a prosthetic. Is it possible to have a normal life??

Answers:

Chin up blueberry. I know things seem impossible at the minute but believe me, things will change. I know how you feel about making friends, I recently moved to a new city and find it hard making friends too. The best thing to do is first make friends with yourself. Your blindness is part of what makes you who you are so you have to find some way of accepting that part of yourself.
Believe me, the minute you start liking yourself, others will.
Its so much easier for me to give others advice - I just wish that sometimes I could listen to my own advice.

I have found a website for support groups in Seattle below.
Take care
