my father in law takes xanax and because recently i have been suffering with anxiety attacks he reckons i should see my gp about getting some, has anyone had any exrerience with it? thanks Dave

Xanax is approved for anxiety, and like it's counterparts, Valium and Atavan, is extremely addictive. Seek the advise of your doctor and any referrals he/she sends your way. You may not need medication at all; a lot of anxiety problems can be dealt with in other ways. Only your doctor will know for sure...not your relatives.
