My doctor let me down and i am changing. should i file a formal letter denouncin!

Question:

My doctor let me down and i am changing. should i file a formal letter denouncing her with her bosses?

or should i just move on as usual. i really could have used some competent help these past few years. decided she isn't. possibly harmed me and i was trying to stick it. hoping to get better. she and her assistant shouldn't be hurting people. sure, they help more than hurt but, is that okay? they think patiets are damn lucky to be treated by these south carolina yahoos. the medical community in this state truly is decades behind the nation. warning, stand clear. i must leave. too dangerous. they all do anything they care to. strange business here. gotta go. file nor file? leave the suckers alone?

Answers:

The little part of my soul that still trusts in others says file...but it probably won't matter unless they obviously caused you harm just for harms sake. Unfortunately for us wacknuts who's lives rest in the hands of medical professionals...most of the time nothing ever happens. I've had psychologists flat out lie to everyone involved in my care and still nothing happened. One woman told me one thing (I'd only be medicated if I agreed to it) and my parents another (That they should force me to take the medications, lock me away if necessary) and then told us both that the other knew what she was saying and agreed. I was a teen with undiagnosed (at the time) bipolar, general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and I had/have severe control issues and was at the time self harming to hold onto a little of the control somehow...and That Woman set me back at least 2 years in therapy and destroyed what progress I had made with re-establishing the trust between myself and my parents. My parents filed all sorts of complaints but since she didn't actually cause me physical harm and didn't "intentionally" screw me up there was nothing anyone wanted to do. The fact that I regressed in my therapy and increased the frequency of self harm due to her actions apparently didn't matter. If you file...don't leave it at just that. If people really need to be warned take your story to the Internet or the local newspapers or something. Don't let them screw people up with impunity.
