Anyone else take Cymbalta that made you so sick you had to quit taking it ?!

Anyone else take Cymbalta that made you so sick you had to quit taking it ?

My Dr. just gave me Cymbalta(60mg) for depression. The first day I took it I was so sleepy, lethargic, nauseous. I slept on/off all day. I had to lay still. I was so naseous if I moved/walked around it got worse like I had motion sickness. When awake I was constantly yawning with each yawn it was everythin I could do not to vomit. My family said my pupils were dialated huge, and I acted spaced and drugged. I didn't feel drugged but I was horribly sick. I didn't take it again for a day or 2 then I decided to give it another try thinkin maybe it was somethin else that made me sick. I was wrong ... 20 minutes after taking the Cymbalta(60mg) I regretted it. It repeated everything from day #1. I haven't taken it since. Besides making me sick I didn't notice anything else it did for me. It didn't seem to help my depression one way or another.
I've heard people say it made them sick for 2-3 weeks and now they are fine. Did I gave up too fast? or Should I ask Dr. for a lower mg?

You had an adverse reaction to the med. I was on Cymbalta and experienced the same thing but to a lesser degree. I called my Dr. and he had me stop with the med altogether. Call your Dr. and tell him/her your symptoms. This input will help others in the long run.
